Misty is one of the Beatrice Ponies that arrived 2-17-08.  She was with us exactly 10 days before she foaled.  This mare was believed by the previous owner to be barren.  Dynamite is full of spit and vinegar, but can be super sweet too.  He is turning out to be a very handsome little man.  We’ll post new pictures of our Mommas and Babies soon.

Here is a slide show of HHR’s horses past and present.  Some of our equine friends have past over the Rainbow Bridge, but most are in new loving homes.  Stay tuned for more slide shows.

We’re going to be updating this blog with pictures of our herd, our new arrivals, our projects around the rescue, and other miscellaneous stuff.  This has been created in the hopes to keep our faithful follower and supporters fully up-to-date as to what is going on here at the Heartland Horse Rescue.  We have learned we can only put so much stuff on the home page of the website.  Also there is a message board link on the website so that we can all discuss things that are going on with horses.  Enjoy!!
